Advanced Metrics (AMS), an affiliate of Community Services Group (CSG), was founded by a group of leading healthcare providers and engineers to develop software with the goal of helping practitioners improve outcomes and data quality with evidence based knowledge and skills.

General Summary:

The Operations Manager (OM) supports our organization's ongoing business operations. The OM works closely with the company's Chief Operations Officer (COO). This position takes part in requirements gathering, analyzing, designing, building, testing and deploying high quality Advanced Metrics solutions that exceed customer expectations. The OM plays an integral part in furthering our mission to make data human.  The OM is expected to contribute towards the achievement of AMS's strategic and operational objectives. Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational policies and practices. The goal is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of business strategies, plans and procedures.
  • Monitor performance, quality and growth.
  • Support daily operations of the company and the work of executives (Programming, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.).
  • Encourage maximum performance and dedication of employees.
  • Support the evaluation of performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
  • Assist CEO and COO in investment and fundraising ventures.
  • Support the management of relationships with partners and vendors.
  • Maintain day to day contact with team to ensure projects are on time, customers are satisfied.
  • Facilitate and support company growth strategy.
  • Firm grasp on internal needs of company, staff, processes, best practices.
  • Understanding of customer needs and expectations.
  • Support SOPs throughout company.
  • Support ongoing development of company culture.
  • Support maintenance of 360 view of the company.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Intrapreneurial, small business minded with an eye on sustainable but significant growth.
  • Willing to use workforce support solutions to manage and monitor quality and performance. Examples include JIRA, Hubstaff, CRM's. Prior knowledge of these specific examples not required.
  • Innovative spirit and willingness to try new things.
  • Approachable and easy to talk to.
  • Business acumen, understanding functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Strategic thinker and ability to see how the work lives beyond any one person sitting in a specific role.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Believe in the team, the products, the culture, the strategy, the market needs.
  • Belief that team members should be able to work autonomously but remain accessible and communicative.

Education, Credentials and Experience:

  • Experience as Operations Manager or relevant role.
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office.

  • Experience in the nonprofit or human services sector, government and for-profit a plus
  • Knowledge and familiarity with HIPAA and operational data security a plus.
  • Must have the ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
