Community Services Group (CSG), one of the largest human services providers in PA, is recruiting for Behavioral Specialist Consultants / Mobile Therapists (BSC/MT) in Lycoming/Clinton Counties.  Join our Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services Team and enjoy a rewarding career working in the community helping to improve the lives of children and adolescents with a mental health (MH) or autism (ASD) diagnosis. These positions will be based out of our Williamsport or Mill Hall Offices. 

At CSG, a Behavioral Specialist Consultant / Mobile Therapist (BSC/MT) designs and directs the implementation of behavioral intervention plans which are individualized to each child or adolescent and to family needs. The BSC/MT provides child centered and family based treatment according to Child Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) principles.

Positions/Qualifications:

Non-Licensed Staff:

  • Part-Time (Flexible) Hours (Flat Rate for Billable and Non-Billable Hours)*
  • Must have a graduate degree from an accredited college or university with clinical training and 1 (one) year experience in a child-serving system.

*Opportunity to go Full-Time once you obtain a License as outlined below, based on the program's needs.

Licensed Staff:

  • Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible) Hours (Full-Time positions offer a complete medical insurance and benefits package.)
  • Must be fully licensed in Pennsylvania as a Psychologist, Behavior Specialist (LBS), Professional Counselor (LPC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT).

Required for all positions: 

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individual to appointments.
  • Must have the ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides services in the community which include school, home and other community locations.
  • Collaborates with other treatment team members to design and direct the implementation of a behavior modification intervention plan which is individualized to each child or adolescent and to the family needs.
  • Identifies goals and intervention techniques, and recommends least restrictive behavioral change methods.
  • Provides assessments of the strength and therapeutic needs of children and their families.
  • Attends and participates in Inter-Agency Service Planning Team (ISPT) meetings.
  • Collaborates with other involved professions and agencies in order to provide unified services and continuity of care to child and family.
  • Develops discharge planning criteria.
  • Provides clinical services to child/adolescent and family.
  • Provides written documentation and clinical records of therapeutic process and progress.
  • Submits applicable billing related documentation to facilitate payment of services.
  • Maintains effective Multi-Disciplinary Team interactions.
  • Acts as a mandated reporter under the Pennsylvania Child Protect Service Law.
