CSG's Adult Mental Health (MH) Service's Long Term Structured Residence (LTSR) Program in Spring Grove, PA is recruiting for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).  This is a Full-Time (40 hr/wk) position offering a complete medical insurance and benefits package for those who qualify.

The QMHP will be responsible for fostering independent living skills in individuals who have a mental illness diagnosis and reside in a community residential program.  This position works with staff in implementing individual and group programming.  In addition it provides responsible care to individuals in the program and is responsible for the routine operation of the location while on duty. The QMHP will serve a role in the clinical aspects of the individual's recovery process.  It will also assist with staff supervision and development at the LTSR. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the individual's health, safety, and welfare by, monitoring of their physical health and psychiatric health needs.
  • Enhances the quality of the individuals' lives and their integration into the community by supporting established goals, and community integration.
  • Develops and implements program plans designed to enhance the individual's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and independent living skills.
  • Develops and facilitates individual and group sessions.
  • Completes all daily, weekly, and monthly records i.e., treatment plans, reports, logs, and other documentations.
  • Communicates and collaborates with team members, individual's families, involved agencies, and the community in providing required relevant information.
  • The QMHP serves as a member of the treatment/service team.
  • Performs and assists in tasks to ensure the effective daily operation of the Individuals and program i.e. program scheduling, providing technical assistance to direct care advisors.
  • Provides crisis management, intervention, and is on-call as assigned.
  • Develop and implement treatment/supportive interventions.
  • Provides coverage in emergency situations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services with 1 year of mental health residential experience and be enrolled in a Human Services related Master's degree program.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individual to appointments.
  • Must have the ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
  • Must be able to be on-call for program as scheduled.
