We are looking for a caring, motivated self-starter who is interested in assisting adults in our MH Enhanced Personal Care Homes (EPCH) in Atlas and Coal Township, PA navigate through their own mental health journey.  This is a Full-Time (40 hrs/wk) position that offers a complete Medical Insurance and Benefits Package for those who qualify!

At CSG, a Personal Care Home (PCH) Specialist works with personal care home programs in CSG to ensure that all employees receive the personal care training and knowledge to perform their jobs. The PCH Specialist develops and implements a formal training program for the CSG licensed personal care homes.  This role is responsible for analyzing training needs, developing and updating curriculum and delivering of course work.  Training programs may involve the day-to-day functions of the company and include work practices.  Training programs help develop a productive, efficient, safe and pleasant work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements and delivers PCH training for all employees in MHRES licensed personal care homes.
  • Develops and maintains continual education support materials to assist personal care homes with on-going development.
  • Confers with managers, instructors, and employees to develop needs analysis and create training programs to match these needs.
  • Schedules, trains and conducts all PCH specific trainings pertaining to 2600 regulations.
  • Conducts on-going training for all personal care home employees. 
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with training guidelines and budget.
  • Develops testing and evaluation procedures to ensure training quality.
  • Works with PCH management teams to develop training materials and schedules for continuous improvement.
  • Assists managers and employees in solving specific training problems.
  • Implements electronic training materials and on-line manuals when possible.
  • Provides direct service as part of regular schedule in order to remain in touch with the needs of those being served in order to ensure that excellent training is developed and provided to other staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

You must have 1 (one) of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree with one year experience in personal care providing direct support to residents and demonstrating proficiency in program expectations, 2600 regulations, CSG Policies and Procedures and effective skills in training OR
  • Associate's degree with two years of experience in personal care providing direct support to residents and demonstrating proficiency in program expectations, 2600 regulations, CSG Policies and Procedures and effective skills in training OR
  • At least three years of experience in personal care providing direct support to residents and demonstrating proficiency in program expectations, 2600 regulations, CSG Policies and Procedures and effective skills in training

You must have all of the following:

  • Must have the ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
  • Must be flexible with schedule to work at times consistent with needs of staff for training as well as coverage in any PCH for open positions and use of PTO.
