Community Services Group (CSG) is recruiting for Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) for our Adult Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) in Watsontown, PA. 

The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) is responsible for the implementation, coordination, integration, and monitoring of active treatment for individuals who reside in an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). The QIDP is responsible for the delegation of work, assignment of duties, and completion of tasks at the program.

CSG's Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) provides comprehensive and individualized health care and rehabilitation services to individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities and co-existing medical conditions, to promote their functional status, independence and community inclusion.

Hourly Rate: $16.50/hr

Schedule: Full-Time (40 hrs/wk) with Monday to Friday - 8 AM-4 PM Hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Observes individuals, reviews data and progress, and revises programs based on individual need and performance.
  • Ensures consistency among external/ internal programs and disciplines.
  • Ensures service design and delivery which provides each individual with an appropriate active treatment program.
  • Ensures that any discrepancies or conflicts between programmatic, medical, dietary and vocational aspects of the individual's assessment and program are resolved.
  • Ensures follow-up to recommendations for services, equipment and programs.
  • Ensures that adequate environmental supports and assistive devices are present to promote independence.
  • Ensures timely modifications of unsuccessful programs or development of programs for unaddressed, but significant needs.
  • Makes recommendations and requests on behalf of the individuals receiving services.
  • Coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers of individuals into and from the program.
  • Adheres to all of Department of Health requirements.
  • Participates in and supervises the on-site team in daily operations and the implementation of behavioral management and skill training programs.
  • Assists in the hiring, orientation, training, development of in-house team, and evaluation of staff.
  • Serves as liaison with families, community, day programs, and medical providers to coordinate programming, medical care and quality of life for each individual.
  • Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team to complete assessments, develop, implement and monitor all goals.
  • Assists in the maintenance of financial accounts for all individual and petty cash funds transacted daily; maintains adequate supply of funds at the location, submits financial documentation to supervisor for review.
  • Ensures accurate and timely updating and completion of clinical paper work.
  • Ensures that the individuals' locations and employees' work environments are safe, comfortable, well maintained, and free from hazards.
  • Assists in the scheduling of individuals' medical and other necessary appointments, and ensures follow through on all recommendations.
  • Provides coverage in emergency situations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 


  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with at least one year experience in a human services field (including, but not limited to: sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology); OR a Doctor of Medicine Osteopathy; or a Registered Nurse and one year of experience working directly with individuals with mental retardation/ intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs.
  • Provide on-call services for the program, as needed
  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individual to appointments.
  • Must be able to drive passenger vans and accompany individuals into the community and provide support and assistance in interactions in the community while maintaining sensitivity to the rights and dignity of the individual.
  • Must have the ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
