Community Services Group (CSG) is recruiting for a Mental Health Professional in Lancaster, PA.  It will provide services as a Therapist as part of our Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Outpatient Treatment Services.  This Full-Time (40 hrs/wk) position will have Monday to Friday hours with evening hours required each week.  It will work with children, adolescents, adults and families at our Lancaster and Harrisburg Offices. 

Paid training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and on-going supervision, which includes weekly individual and group supervision with the DBT team members, will be provided!

CSG is offering a $1,000.00 Sign-On-Bonus for this position.  $500.00 after you start and $500.00 after successful completions of 6 months of employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family, group counseling services and/or skills training/education to children, adolescents, adults and families. 
  • Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services in accordance with standards applicable to mental health professionals.
  • Adheres to and upholds the ethical standards of the profession.
  • Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with employees, families, schools, individuals, mental health specialists and the public.
  • Documents work in accordance with company standards in the areas of diagnostic evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge procedures, and other consumer related activities.
  • Participates in education and other activities necessary to maintain competency in clinical work.
  • Provides on-call services as scheduled by the Program Director.
  • Actively participates in clinical team and staff meetings.
  • Provides clinical counseling in community settings, when applicable.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as needed and/or outlined by the Program Director.
  • Meets or exceeds productivity expectations.
  • May collaborate with other professionals, but primarily works independently.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Psychologist.
  • Must have an interest in providing and being trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). 
  • Previous experience in DBT is a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend   trainings, meetings, and/or transport individual to appointments.
  • Must have the ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
